GonioTech LLC is creating an advanced transistor capable of high-speed operation and efficient power management. To achieve this, we're working with an innovative material called 'goniopolar,' which is characterized by its ability to show dual conductivity behavior. This versatility offers exciting potential for electronic devices including telecommunications, antennas, and quantum computers. We have secured over $2M in federal research grants and defense contracts to continue research and development of goniopolar materials.
We are actively exploring how the orientation of goniopolar material within the transistor device impacts signal amplification. Our work includes extensive circuit design to evaluate transistor gain across various frequency ranges. Traditional electrical wire-based circuit designs suffice at lower frequencies, but our goniopolar transistor's remarkably low internal resistance necessitates innovative approaches. Recently, we've achieved low contact resistance when the contact surfaces were suitably prepared, indicating operational efficiency is on the horizon.
